Without a doubt the crust on this pie was the standout. Every pizza relies on its crust for the foundation of its flavor and its structure, and this made me say βwowβ upon first bite. The cheese blend was excellent, but the citrus vinaigrette and heaping pile of arugula seemed misplaced. Iβd recommend less of both moving forwards.
Ingredients: Alfredo Sauce, Chicken, green onions, spinach.
Love biases aside, this pizza had an excellent crust. The fresh dough and homemade alfredo sauce are the reason this pie gets such a high rating. Docking points for the slightly overcooked chicken, but ratios of ingredients were amazing. Each bite contained almost all the toppings, and the sauce was plentiful but not overpowering.
This is a review in 4 parts: I ate 4 kinds of pizza 1. Alfredo Pizza:
Ingredients: Alfredo sauce, chicken, green peppers, tomatoes, onions & mozzarella By far the best pizza of the bunch, it actually had flavor and a good mix of toppings. The crust was cooked better the other and held up to the overage of sauce that was added , as well as a decent dispersion of toppings.
2. Vegetarian: Ingredients Green peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, black olives, artichoke hearts, spinach, broccoli, pizza sauce & mozzarella Iβd say this was fine…. nothing to complain about the addition of artichoke heart was good and added something slightly different than i was expecting
3.Pepperoni. Not worth reviewing just awful. Donβt eat it.
4. Cheese: Ingredients: Crust, cheese, sauce These pizzas were not worth it. I would have been incredibly disappointed in the entire restaurant if I just eaten these two. Iβm not sure what the idea was behind the sauce, but it was awful. The crust itself was mediocre but the sauce had a sweetness that was unpleasant to be gracious. I could see how perhaps with more toppings it would add to the flavor profile, but a good pizza starts with good crust, sauce, and toppings. If you mess up on one of the 3 youβre starting from an extreme deficit.
